IIn 1987, Kawasaki made its first venture into
off-road racing with a trip south of the border to
compete in the Baja 500. A single box van, a few gas
cans, one technician and at the time, a little known
rider named Larry Roeseler helped the program get
its start. Throughout the years, the Kawasaki race
program has become synonymous with off-road racing,
and the riders behind it have become a who’s-who of
the sport.
For 2008, Kawasaki brings together a collection of
off-road’s best in four different series across the
country. Monster Energy Kawasaki lines up at the
World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS), AMA
Grand National Cross Country series (GNCC), AMA
National Hare and Hound series, and the up and
coming series of AMA National EnduroCross. |
