B. Granular Full Notice - Employee Handbook or Standalone Document:
We collect personal information (“PI”) from you in connection with your application for employment with Kawasaki, including the following categories of PI: identifiers, personal records, personal characteristics or traits, internet or network activity, professional or employment information, non-public education information, and inferences drawn from your PI. We collect your PI for our purposes, including performing services and operations related to your actual or potential employment. [22] Note, customization is required here depending on purposes for which you collect each category of PI. The seven enumerated categories of business purposes in the CCPA are: (1) m anaging interactions and transactions (e.g., a uditing related to a current interaction with the consumer and concurrent transactions, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance with this specification and other standards ); (2) debugging (e.g., debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.); (3) r esearch and development (e.g., undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration; (4) p erforming services and operations and providing benefits (e.g., payroll and other human resources functions, processing and providing benefits); (5) processing interactions (e.g., to comply with federal and state records retention laws, process payroll, administer and maintain group health insurance benefits, manage employee job duties and evaluate performance); (6) security (e.g., detecting security incidents, protecting against fraudulent or illegal activity), and (7) quality assurance (e.g., to verify and maintain the quality of company issued devices). If PI is also being collected for purposes other than business purposes (i.e., commercial purposes), those purposes should also be listed.
