BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN’S GRANT BAYLOR AND NICK DEFEO LAND ON THE PODIUM AT THE CAJUN CLASSIC NATIONAL ENDURO

Forest Hill, Louisiana. - The second round of the AMA National Enduro Series took place over the weekend deep in the woods of Louisiana under near perfect conditions where KX mounted racers, Grant Baylor and Nick Defeo would land on the podium in their respective classes.

After his disappointing finish at the opening round of NEPG series, the defending champion, Grant Baylor would turn the ship around at round two and end up second overall on the day in the NE Pro1 class. Grant’s day would start off slow, but the champ would rebound late in the day to overtake the second place position after the last section, by under half a second, over his competition.

“I definitely put myself behind the eight-ball in the first test by making some poor bike setup choices, but after sorting that out I was able to start riding like how I know I can. It was a rough day though, I was feeling it out there in the last test but I was able to keep it smooth and consistent and bring home second overall on the day.” Said Baylor on his race.

NE Pro2 rider, Nick Defeo would continue his success from the opening round by placing third in class and tenth overall.

The third round of the AMA National Enduro Series will take place on May 5th at the Black Buffalo National Enduro in Kingston, Arkansas where Team Babbitt’s/Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green duo of Grant Baylor and Nick Defeo will look to continue their success.
