BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN’ RIDER NICK DEFEO OVERCOMES ADVERSITY TO TAKE A TOP TEN AT THE FLYING W NATIONAL ENDURO

Cherryville, MO - The AMA National Enduro Series was back in action this weekend at the inaugural Flying W Enduro in south-eastern Missouri, where NE-Pro 2 rider Nick Defeo overcame the extreme dry and rocky conditions to claim a Top Ten in class while defending NE-Pro 1 champion Grant Baylor recovers from injury.

No rain in the weeks prior to the inaugural event made the course extremely dusty and treacherous for all the riders, but KX250X-mounted Defeo was able to overcome the adverse course conditions by being consistent throughout all six tests of the race, never finishing below tenth to earn himself an eighth-place finish at the end of the race.

The NEPG Series will run round nine of the series in two weeks time at the long-running Zink National in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Nick Defeo looks to be back battling up front for a podium position.
